Buenavista, in the neighborhood of the same name just north of downtown, was the city’s old railway station and is now a transit hub. The Tren Suburbano leaves from here for Cuautitlán and, since April 2026, so does the Felipe Ángeles Train to AIFA airport. It also connects with the Metro and three Metrobús lines. It’s about 4 km from Hotel Emma Boutique, roughly half an hour by public transit.

By Metrobús: walk about 10 minutes to Glorieta de Insurgentes and take Line 1 toward Indios Verdes. Get off at Buenavista, on Insurgentes Norte, right beside the train station.
By Metro: board at Sevilla, 200 m away, and take Line 1 toward Pantitlán to Balderas. Change to Line 3 toward Indios Verdes as far as Guerrero, then Line B toward Buenavista, one stop. With luggage, the Metrobús or a taxi beats the transfers.
How to pay
The Metro, Metrobús and the AIFA train take the Integrated Mobility Card (Tarjeta de Movilidad Integrada). The Suburbano to Cuautitlán uses its own rechargeable card, sold at the station machines. The two cards aren’t interchangeable and can’t be topped up at each other’s machines, so check which train you’re taking before you buy.
Tips
- For AIFA, follow the “Usuarios ramal AIFA” signs: the airport branch has its own turnstiles and platform.
- On weekdays, the Suburbano is packed inbound in the morning and outbound in the evening.
- If you have an early flight from AIFA, check the first train time for that day: service starts later on weekends.
- Allow time to buy or top up a card; there are lines at the machines at rush hour.
